My name is OIGEN DAUDI USIRI, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of HFO Brothers Tours & Safaris Company. I am Tanzanian, born and raised in Kilimanjaro region at Moshi district.I have strong experience and great team of people that guarantees the highest quality. As a Managing Director my focus is on arranging and organizing tours and safaris with an ethical and professional approach.I am open-minded, casual, easy-going and most importantly, I believe in nature and adventure and spend most of my time seeking more adventures. My hobbies are Sharing Ideas, Swimming, Reading Book, Camping, Travelling, Exploring Nature, Learning different Cultures, Touring, cruising, hiking and different other outdoor activities. My name is FREDRICK G. MACHANGE, a Tanzanian Native by birth, one among the owners and the co-founders of HFO Brothers Tours and Safaris. I was born and raised in the land of Kilimanjaro which is full of natural and cultural heritage. I've always had passion for tourism as well as exploring Nature to discover and identifying new attractions available in my country. Also I'm fascinated by foreign countries and their cultures; my whole life, education, traveling and jobs have all related to tourism and I have been involved in almost every aspect of the industry. I love to get in touch with new people and unknown cultures because that’s the only way to really broaden one’s mind; by sharing experiences and motives.

As a Chief operating Officer (COO) &General Manager (GM) of HFO Brothers Tours & Safaris Company; I am responsible for the operational part and Managing Part of a company by reflecting all core values, responsibilities and overseeing all operational and administrative functions, ensuring all programmes are well attained as planned, and oversees all internal functions of a company so as to see if they are smoothly run in respect of each Tour and safari trips wants.

Prior to the start of your adventure, you will attend a briefing, where you will be informed about general safari etiquette, safety issues and what to expect on safari. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Since Operation part is an essential task for our company; As a Chief operating Officer my daily routine task is to slot our safari vehicles and guides schedule. Especially in high season this can be very challenging, but feasible for our experienced team. Organizing transfers in and around Moshi/Arusha, checking camping equipment and vehicles on a regular basis and making sure that they are always in an excellent condition are also part of their daily work routine. Our operations team is available 24/7 for emergencies.

Remember that; prior to every trekking, our guests receive a full briefing by our operations team. The routes, safety procedures and health issues will be discussed in detail and there will be time for asking questions. Furthermore, the trekking gear will be inspected carefully to ensure that everything is ready and safe.

Other duties for our operations team include the allocation of our mountain crews. Currently we have 20 Members in our team, consisting of a head guide, assistant guide, cook and porters. Experience and team spirit of the crew is essential for a successful trekking tour on Kilimanjaro and we are very proud of our well-rehearsed and passionate team. They know how to motivate you when you are in exhaustion and their good mood is infectious.

I am HASSAN K. MBAGA, one among the owners and the co-founders of HFO Brothers Tours and Safaris. I was born and raised in the land of Kilimanjaro which is full of natural and cultural heritage. I am a noble person, open minded and genuine. My hobby is hanging out with people, outdoor trips, swimming and wild life expedition. I have a strong passion for adventure as part of my lifestyle.

Professionally, I Have completed a degree in Accounts and Finance at Moshi Cooperative University, specializing in the studies of Accounts and Finance, Cooperative Studies and other Relevant studies that I have learn in my desired career of Accountant.

As a Chief Financial Officer, My duty is to Develops financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans; directing staff as well to prepare the company budget and gives advice's to clients safaris budget slotting with their preferable Packages they choose.

HFO Brothers guides, Porters & Cooks

HFO Brothers uses Professional guides, all of whom have received extensive training in first aid, mountain rescue, flora and fauna, Mt. Kilimanjaro & Mt. Meru history and other Game Reserves available in Tanzania.

HFO Brothers guides are naturalists with exceptional experience and who know All Tanzania parks intimately, and have an amazing knowledge of the African wilderness and its people. Their appreciation of the diverse cultures of the world and the needs of their guests allows them to deliver the ultimate safari.

Our Mt. Kilimanjaro guides understand and aware that customer satisfaction, safe and successful climb is one of our company core values. Our guides have support teams of assistant guides, cooks and porters that we have assembled personally. We feel having control of our personnel assignments is the best way to make sure your mountain crew complies with our high standards. Through regular interaction, your mountain crew will perform at its best and offer consistent service trip after trip. We like for things to go smoothly behind the scenes so that our staff can focus on our most important asset–the client. Because of our hardworking porters, all you need to do on your climb is walk. Porters carry the tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, food, water, cookware, gas, stoves, medical supplies, chairs, and tables–not to mention your camping gear. It is at ought job and anyone who has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro will tell you that their strength, skill and stamina are incredible.

Also most of our porters they can speak English so we recommend to talk with them, get know them, share stories, singing and dances together for Kilimanjaro songs.

You can expect the following from our Kilimanjaro guide:

  • High Safety Standards – Your guide can identify and avoid potential hazards such as slippery trails and loose rocks. Your guide can prevent, recognize and treat altitude-related illnesses.
  • Climbs Knowledge – Kilimanjaro trails are clearly marked, so following a trail should not pose a problem. But there are more intricate things that your guide will take into consideration when deciding when, where, and how to move the party. These things include weather conditions, trail density, rest stops, pace, etc.
  • Mountain Facts – Your guide is knowledgeable about general mountain facts. He can tell you about the climate zones, the altitudes of and distances to campsites, and information about the geology, flora and fauna. These types of facts increase the enjoyment during the trek by giving you an idea of what you are seeing and feeling.
  • Cooks

    HFO Brothers Tours &Safari cooks are well-trained and regularly undergo courses to learn new recipes and techniques. They use freshing redients and adapt their menu to the clients’ needs and dietary requirements. Creating a 3-course meal with a gas cooker and a pan is their specialty. Also Our bush chef’s cookers work wonders in tough conditions. Whether in the dusty plains of the Serengeti or the summits of Kilimanjaro, these extremely diligent artists work wonders to provide you with fresh and tasty meals for days on end. Possible the least seen and yet hardest working these fine men cook up a storm.
